Hello ladies!
Well, we have a problem. As I am the current custodian of the pants, I am seeing them on a regular basis, and I have noticed something wrong with them that will soon be an issue for us. They have a spot of wear on the inner right thigh that with a bit more use is sure to become a hole... In a not so great place for pants to wear thin...
We're gonna need a course of action on this ladies, so I thought I would bring it to your attention now. As said, not a hole yet, but one imminently forming!! A patch of some kind is my best solution, my Mom is the sewing guru though, so when next I talk to her I will mention it and see what she says.
In the meantime, I love you all muchly, and would love to see you give the blog some action soon. Yes Dina, construe that in an innuendo if you must.

WTH? we've had them for barely a year and theres a hole forming already? These jeans were apparently not worth the $90 or whatever we paid for them... Haha, I've had jeans for yeaaarrrsss and they're still hole-free!
ReplyDeleteThey were over $100 jeans... I am also not happy with this situation, they seemed to be lasting so well too... I too have much cheaper jeans that I wore FOREVER with out getting holes. Quality fail!
ReplyDeleteI think the difference for you is that there are two others wearing them. My jeans definitely last longer than a year but, if they are going to die, one of the places they do go is inner thighs and they usually gets fairly worn within the first year.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's my fault for walking with my legs to close together. Next time I'll walk like I'm a cowboy packing 10 inches. Happy?
If you really think this is a concern to deal with now then I think this is the perfect opportunity to add some personality to our pants and I'm rather excited about it!
Patch was my Mom's suggestion when I asked her about it last night.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very amusing mental picture to think about you walking like that Dina, do make sure I get to see you when you decide to do that! But in all fairness, I walk with my legs close together too, so blame shared.
