PANTS and Other Awesomeness

Hey ladies!

So yesterday I got Pants! WOOOT! I think you got that from my text messages and stuff but I thought I'd say it again anyways because I like it!
This was the first time I've actually gotten them from the mail so it was really super exciting to open my mailbox and see the key to the bigger box and then open the bigger box all dramatically and then be like "PANTS!!!"

Yes...
Yesterday I also got an extension on the English essay I have to write. It was going to be due Thrusday but now I have all the way until Monday! Still have to actually do it, which sucks, but it sucks less than it could have.

I had my last volunteer work shift for the Science Faculty yesterday which was sad but Emily and I agreed that we're going to do another shift in the fall so it's all good. What was a little disappointing was the fact that the big board where we work say "DEATHSTICKS ARE BACK!!!" but there were no deathsticks... Deathsticks are these amazing whip cream donuts that are covered in icing sugar and should probably make you go into some kind of diabetic shock when you eat them but they're SOOOO GOOD! So Emily and I were super excited when we saw the announcement but then super disappointed when they weren't there. Instead I got a icing frosted croissant which was so sweet it made me see visions of Katy Perry's California Girls music video as I bit into it. I think that's a win.

Last night was the second last Tuesday movie of the term and we watched Little Miss Sunshine. Hilarious! The bit with the car horn literally made me cry laughing. If you're looking for a bit of a laugh, a bit of a "See? Crazy families can function!" and a bit of Steve Carell doing serious acting (and doing it very well) then this is a movie for you to watch.

Now your Pants and I have to go to school so this will have to be the end of the post. There's more to come later!

Also, have at my Twitter to see my weather forecast...

Love y'all!

Dina

  4. Much yaying, haha!

I have noticed if you save it as a draft, leave it and come back all the formatting goes the way of the dinosaurs...

And Dawn, for some reason I can't read the bit about donuts without thinking you mean it as an innuendo.

  6. @Dawn: Do they actually have donuts in the shape of the elder wand?!? I want one!

As for the formatting I typed it all up in the "new post" window with all the proper things before I posted it and it looked fine there. I tried copying and pasting it different strange places and then back to the blog and that didn't work. I tried signing out and signing back in, reformatting, and then posting again and that didn't work either... I usually type things on Word and then copy and paste but these last two I didn't. I blame that, however that works.

@Valerie: I think the innuendo is not actually what Dawn has said before but rather "I want to swallow your wand".

@Michele: You really should see Little Miss Sunshine. It's super awesome. Also, be patient! I just got the pants! You had them for how long at Christmas?? That's what I thought... :P

  7. I was making a death stick/elder wand joke actually. Apparently none of you are Nerd enough to get it.... Disappointed Dina is disappointed.

  8. Ashamed Dina is ashamed that she did not get that reference... The only excuse she can offer is that Deathsticks are so delicious that they completely fried her brain. That and she was preoccupied by thoughts of how exactly one would make a donut in the proper shape of the elder wand. It's a project along the lines of Curly Toast, she thinks.
