Soo y'all know how my mom's a teacher... well today she was helping out in a Gr 7 boys class and as part of their English studies they were learning about blogs.
On the smartboard their teacher pulled up a professional music blog, then a professional sports blog, then my mother pulled up Trouser Trek.
I was a bit stunned and skeptical when she told me this - I'm not sure if 12 year old boys are really our intended audience! However she assured me that she read "A Short Story" to them and nothing more.
Their conversation of course turned to internet safety. Mother pointed out our blog names and the class thought we were quite smart.
Hooray for teaching kids!

ReplyDeleteNow I'm kind of okay with it though. Who says we can't be interesting to twelve year old boys? I think the amount of times we've talked about boobs and sex should count for something there. I found those things very interesting as a twelve year old...
