Well, it's that time of year. The day when the air is full of love, our bellies are full of sugar and stores are full of incredibly tacky and hilarious gifts.
The day has been referred to also as "single's awareness day". But see here's the thing - not all singles are bitter! SO many are perfectly happy where they are.
And not all couples are all googly-eyed over valentine's day!
Oh stereotypes - aren't they fun?
Anyways I wanted to take this opportunity to let everyone reading know how beautiful they are, how important they are and how much they are loved!
Single's Awareness Day is what I call it, a Hallmark holiday if ever there was one. I'm not saying that all singles are bitter, but it is a rather exclusive holiday to the point where it has evolved among the single so they can include themselves in some facet. Such as sending Valentines to friends. :)

ReplyDeleteI like to think that, while Valentine's Day is all hyped up with couples it's also about love in general and there shouldn't be any stigma about spending it with people you love platonically.
