It has been way way WAAAAYYY too long since we've updated the Trek! What is this madness?!?!
Well, dear readers, summer is a busy time for us! Michele is out of the freakin PROVINCE working at horse camp. I am on the complete opposide side of the province than school, Dina is still working and living away at school and poor Valerie is the only one in our home town.
but I think we're all having fun still. I know I am - and we keep getting messages from Michele saying she is too!
As to today - first of all - Happy canada day!!
I was home for the weekend which was weird but fun. On saturday I had a breakfast date with a 3 year old.Strawberries and cream. om nom nom! then I took my sisters for tea, also delicious! I spent most of the day with the ginger, and we went on a real date! Got greek food. OM NOM NOM. (lots of nomming!). I also made a fool of my self in the restaurant after knocking my drink on the floor. oops! Thank goodness he already knows about my clutziness or that would've been an awful date.
The fam jam had a campfire with a couple friends and neighbours and that was awesome too :) Sunday (today) was mostly spent doing fun Canada stuff. We grabbed Valerie and drove to the beach! We watched the parade and they had a fair! My sisters and I couldn't resist the rides so we went on one or two, and even convinced Valerie to do the merry-go-round with us! I wound up completely in the lake (surprise surprise) even though it was FREEEZING.
all in all a good day.. The rest of it will be spent on the train on the way back to camp. but thank goodness for Wi-fi! it's tumblr time!!
Huzzah Trouser Trek! I had a lot of fun Dawn, super glad we got to have some adventure times :)
