Ok so I'd like to tell you about my easter weekend. Starting Saturday.
I went to the Agriculture Museum with some friends (a bunch were nerdfighters, but not all of them) and we got to see a bunch of baby animals! We pet some sheep, and goats. Saw horses and pigs. Held baby bunnies, squeed over baby chickies. Yes, we were pretty much the only ones there who were neither small children nor parents, but no, we didn't care.
As I have posted about before, I am not a huge fan of cows. They are rather large and stupid animals and they make me uneasy. I have always found the baby cows cute, and with a fence between us I got really close to one calf. I even reached out to pet her. And then she decided to get friendly.
Yup, that is me. Getting licked by a cow. My jacket was COVERED in cow slobber by the time I left. And you know what? It wasn't scary, it didn't make me uneasy. Mostly it was just funny. So maybe cows aren't so terrible after all??
Today (Sunday), was my Family Easter Dinner. Huge tradition and lots of fun. We were missing a chunk of the family this year due to various reasons, but we had the addition of the ginger. Since Easter is in my city and he was unable to go home for the weekend, I thought he might appreciate some free delicious food. I was a little nervous for him at first, but it was no big deal. He had met most of the people there already, and made a good impression on the rest :) HUZZAH! I recieved lots of candy and chocolate and PEEEPS from both my family and his. Om nom nom. I sugar crashed a little and after dinner he and I came back to my place to nap.
Naps are wonderful. I have a feeling I will probably be taking too many of them this week. In a battle between napping and studying... I think Napping EASILY comes out on top as the more enjoyable choice. That, along with eating and tumblring :P

ReplyDeleteI would take it up for discussion but you two will just yell at me so loud I would be inaudible... Men are allowed to be close friends without being gay for each other. Two women act like them we would probs call them best friends, men have a close relationship and we call them gay. I call that unequal expectations.
My brother and I use the 'hoppy Easter' joke every year, it is like the only Easter tradition I have. Also I request being in the Sherlock loop, I love squeeing about my British men!! ;)
I've only seen one episode, but that's still a large percentage of what's out there :P

I had obviously seen Benedict's lovely face all over the internet but then he opened his mouth and dear lord. his voice is so deep! I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting it. It was surprising, but good surprising.
I don't want him to appear in my bed and start ripping my clothes off like I may feel about some other actors (did I say David Tennant? I thought I said "other actors" but Im pretty sure it came out David Tennant) - but he is still a fine specimen.
Indeed in this series a single episode is a sizable portion of the entirety, in fact it is 1/6th of what is officially out there. Technically 1/7th if you are handy and can find the unaired pilot...

Valerie I KNOW that men can be close friends without being gay. Harry and Ron are. but I mean, when the other characters ship it... it's practically canon. I'm not saying they're in a sexual relationship, but they DEFINITELY have INTENSE ( most likely romantic) feelings

DeleteI don't actually ship Johnlock as super sexy like I do with Drarry. I prefer them deliciously asexy the way they are in the show. Not getting off with each other but if they were going to get off with someone it would be each other. Definitely romantically attached.
